Rob Normandeau

Rob Normandeau is the President and Chief Operating Officer for Clarke Inc. In this role, he oversees the day-to-day operations of Clarke Inc., with direct responsibility for the company’s Finance, Legal and Investment Departments, as well as Clarke IT Solutions and Clarke Shipping. Clarke Inc.’s Executive Chairman, George Armoyan, has credited Mr. Normandeau with having been instrumental to Clarke’s transformation from a transportation services provider to the activist catalyst investment company it is today. As Clarke Inc.’s President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Normandeau also plays an integral role in exploring new investment and acquisition opportunities and working with companies in which Clarke is invested to maximize shareholder value.

Prior to joining Clarke in May 2007, Mr. Normandeau served as Vice President and General Counsel for Clarke from April 2005 to October 2006, following which he acted as the company’s Corporate Secretary and outside legal counsel, while practicing law at a Halifax-based law firm. Prior to his work at Clarke, Mr. Normandeau practiced law in the Toronto office of a major New York-based law firm, where he specialized in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Normandeau also serves on the Boards of Cinram International Income Fund (TSX: CRW.UN) and Humber Capital Corporation (TSX: RUM).

Mr. Normandeau holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Scholar’s Electives) from the University of Western Ontario, a Master’s of Business Administration degree with a specialization in finance from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Toronto. Mr. Normandeau is admitted to the practice of law in Ontario, Nova Scotia and New York.
